Vaccine Mandate and Verification Guidance
Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 21-14.2 requires all workers of Washington higher education institutions to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment/appointment unless a documented medical or religious exemption is approved. Faculty, librarians, and other academic personnel do not comply with the vaccination requirement or who do not receive a University-approved exemption are prohibited from engaging in any work for the University of Washington and are subject to separation in compliance with provisions of relevant policies and labor contracts.
