Appointment Confirmation

As a new University of Washington employee/appointee, you will receive an official job offer from your new academic unit. This is your appointment confirmation. This confirmation is an important aspect of your employment with the UW. Please keep a copy for your records.

Certain incoming faculty will also receive an email confirmation from the Academic HR team in the Office of Academic Personnel. This confirmation email will include the new title and effective appointment start date as well as the Patent, Invention, and Copyright Statement and Statement of Policy on Non-Discrimination and Sexual Harassment. This email is also sent to your primary appointing unit’s dean/chancellor office for their records.
