Librarian ranks

Librarians are academic personnel who contribute to the academic and scholarly excellence of the University by the maintenance of high standards of librarianship. Librarians are appointed through the UW Libraries or the Marian Gould Gallagher Law Library. Librarians appointed through the UW Libraries or the Gallagher Law Library are governed by the UW Librarian Personnel Code or UW SEIU 925 Libraries Collective Bargaining Agreement.
