Interfolio’s Review, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT) module launched on January 2, 2025. Units should delete outdated templates and cases while ensuring accurate template formatting. SCC administrators are encouraged to clone their own templates for effective committee management. Updated Interfolio support contact info is now available. Non-mandatory promotion and tenure records are due by February 3, 2025. UW is enhancing visa sponsorship flexibility starting February 1, 2025. ISO has new winter quarter walk-in hours. Recent Editions
Key deadlines include cloning RPT templates by December 31, notifying 12-month faculty of reappointments by December 27, and closing 2023 recruitments by December 31. Apply for 2025-2026 sabbaticals by January 10, and submit Winter Reappointments by January 17. Gerberding Hall closes December 21-January 5; ISO services require appointments. APF’s transformation focuses on faculty success, with updates shared in forums and newsletters. Join the Administrators Forum on January 23 and a workshop on equitable evaluations January 27. As the year concludes, key due dates and updates include faculty reappointment notifications (December 13, 27), sabbatical processes (December 14, 31), and promotion/tenure submissions (December 16). Units must complete tasks like cloning RPT templates and managing recruitments by December 31. Workday enhancements supporting EO59 revisions and new alerts for expired positions take effect mid-December. ISO shifts to digital DS-2019 forms from January 2025. Congratulations to Shelley Kostrinsky on her retirement after 20 years at UW. The 2024 AP Census shows marked data quality improvements.
