Certain academic titles require Board of Regents approval before the individual can begin work. The Office of Academic Personnel gathers new administrative, academic, and endowed appointments and presents them to the Board of Regents for approval. To ensure your unit is in compliance with policy, please process appointments and titles well in advance of the intended start date and at least 3 weeks prior to the Board of Regents meeting preceding the start date of the appointment.
