We are recruiting a full-time advanced practice provider (APP) at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate to join our sports medicine and foot and ankle service at the University of Washington Medical Center. The successful candidate is expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and have effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise. Our APPs are responsible for providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in the surgical, inpatient and outpatient settings. Teaching associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This position has a flexible start date in the fall of 2022.

Qualifications
1. Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License.
2. Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program. Nationally certified PA-C with DEA.
3. Excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
DESIRED:
Experience caring for orthopaedic patients in the operating room and clinic setting is desirable, but not a prerequisite for the candidate who is eager to learn.
