The Physical Sciences Division in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at the University of Washington Bothell (UW Bothell) seeks multiple dynamic educators who have expertise in teaching for Lecturer Part-Time Temporary appointments beginning in Autumn Quarter 2022. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to innovative and effective pedagogy, have expertise in working with diverse student populations, and are open to collaborating with colleagues. Positions in this title are non-tenure and not promotion eligible. Appointments are renewable on a quarterly basis, and are contingent upon instructional need, performance and funding. The School is housed in several buildings on a vibrant campus co-located on a restored 100-acre wetland with an active salmon stream, including the 74,000 square-foot Discovery Hall teaching and laboratory facility, with a new 77,000 square-foot STEM building in collaboration with Cascadia College opening in Fall 2023.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements for the position include:
- Applicants should hold a PhD, MS or foreign equivalent by time of appointment.
- Demonstrated commitment to innovative and effective pedagogy.
- A record of teaching excellence.
- Expertise in working with diverse student populations.
