Position Description

The University of Washington Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine has an advanced practice provider position (ARNP/PA-C) available as a Teaching Associate.  This position is full-time with a 12-month service period (July 1 – June 30).  The anticipated start date is August 2022 or soon thereafter.  University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.  Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary pain team on the Inpatient Nocturnist Pain Consult Service at University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake.  Duties include the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with both acute and chronic pain, including relevant medical and psychological conditions.

Qualifications

Must have a graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or accredited Physician Assistant program.  Must be a nationally certified ARNP/PA.  Must obtain state of Washington ARNP or PA licensure by start of appointment.
