Position Description
The Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington is recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Clinical faculty member at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level with expertise in the management of luminal Gastroenterology diseases and disorders. Duties include clinical management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders, general endoscopy, and teaching. This position will be on an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30], reviewed annually, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2022. Qualifications
The candidate will have a recognized MD degree (or foreign equivalent), completed a ACGME accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship and ABIM certification and maintenance of certification in Gastroenterology (or foreign equivalent). In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
