Electrophysiologist
The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine and UW Medicine Heart Institute at the University of Washington, School of Medicine are recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Electrophysiologist to be primarily based at UWMC-Northwest. UWMC_Northwest is one of two campuses comprising the UW Medical Center and offer a full slate of cardiovascular services. The successful candidate will be able to take advantage of the outstanding opportunities for collaboration at the University of Washington. The successful applicant would be appointed to the full-time (100% FTE) faculty at the University of Washington at the Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor level, commensurate with qualifications, and an annual service period of 12 months (July 1-June 30). Anticipated start date is April 1, 2022.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have excellent training in electrophysiology and the desire to support a strong clinical program of electrophysiology at UWMC-Northwest.
Applicants must have an MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology (or foreign equivalent). In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
