Position Description

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM) is currently recruiting individuals for nighttime ICU-based clinical work with patient care efforts at Harborview Medical Center and the University of Washington Medical Center (Montlake Campus).  These positions may include clinical bedside teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.

Two (2) full-time or part-time positions (50% FTE or greater) are available with start dates of July 1, 2022 or later. The open positions are 12-month (July 1–June 30 service period), annual appointments and will be at the Clinical Instructor level, based on experience and training. 

Qualifications

Requirements include an MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and Internal Medicine Board Eligibility to be considered.  Candidates with Board eligibility or certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine or Critical Care Medicine are encouraged.

To be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

  2.
