Position Description

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington is seeking a full- or half-time Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor in Rehabilitation Neuropsychology to join the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology & Neuropsychology.

Clinical duties will include delivery of outpatient rehabilitation psychology services (e.g., psychotherapy) primarily in our Post-COVID and Multiple Sclerosis clinics, including consultation with members of multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams. The Division of Rehabilitation Psychology & Neuropsychology provides care for many populations, including patients with post-COVID symptoms (e.g., fatigue, anxiety, depression, sleep dysfunction, functional impairments, post-viral management) and multiple sclerosis, as well as traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and brain tumors. Opportunities for supervision of psychology predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees within our APA-accredited internship and fellowship programs, as well as lectures at the graduate/medical school level are available. Opportunities for mentorship, career growth, and leadership are available, as well as the opportunity to assist in the development of new and expanding programs to address clinical demand. The individual hired for this position will work with marginalized and culturally diverse communities and with trainees holding a range of worldviews. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

This position has an annual service period of 12-months [July 1-June 30].

Salary and academic appointment at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a PhD, PsyD, or equivalent degree from an APA-approved clinical psychology graduate school program.  
  • Must be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Washington.
