Position Description
The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, University of Washington School of Medicine and UW Medicine Heart Institute is seeking a full-time (100% FTE) physician for a Hospitalist and/or Nocturnist position at the UW Medical Center. The successful candidate will have strong clinical experience and an interest in general cardiology. This will provide coverage for the CCU and Cards A, B and intermittently for Card N service on our nocturnist service.
This is an annual appointment with a 12-month service period (July 1 – June 30) at the rank of a Clinical Instructor (Job Class Code: 10168) or Clinical Assistant Professor (Job Class Code: 10167), commensurate with qualifications. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2022.

Qualifications
The minimum requirements for this position are as follows: MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in internal medicine or cardiovascular diseases (or foreign equivalent).
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
