Position Description

The Department of Psychology, University of Washington, expects to fill a non-tenure track, Lecturer part-time (50%) position.  We seek a faculty member who is strongly committed to teaching large undergraduate courses in psychology such as Introductory Psychology, Biopsychology, Sensation and Perception, Cognitive Psychology, and Behavioral Neuroscience.  Responsibilities will include teaching one undergraduate psychology course per quarter (autumn, winter, or spring).  Appointment expected to begin in September 16, 2021. Faculty have an annual service period of nine months (Sept 16-June 15). Qualifications

Ph.D or foreign equivalent is required by date of appointment. 

 

Instructions

All applications packages should include a letter of interest, a curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, diversity statement, and three letters of recommendation.
