Position Description

The Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Washington is recruiting a Hematologist at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level without tenure (commensurate with experience and qualifications) on the Clinician-Scholar track. The position will be a full-time, multi-year appointment over a 12-month service period.

The successful candidate will be an Associate or Full Professor with expertise in the management of hematology patients. Assistant professors will be considered for this position for those applicants who have demonstrated excellence in their chosen area of focus. Leadership opportunities in the section of Hematology will be considered for particularly accomplished applicants.

All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.  Anticipated start date is Summer 2021.

Qualifications

Interested applicants must have an MD/DO or foreign equivalent and be board certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all 3 steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
