Position Description

The Division of Plastic Surgery, Department of Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine is accepting applications for a full-time, 12 month service period, without tenure due to funding Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. The salary and rank is commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience, with an expected start date in Winter 2020.

This position will be primarily based at UW Medical Center (UWMC) Montlake Campus and will have responsibility for direction of the UW Medicine Center for Reconstructive Surgery and for leadership of the UWMC Section of Plastic Surgery at both the UWMC Montlake and Northwest campuses. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. 

Qualifications

Prospective candidates must have an M.D. (or foreign equivalent), and be American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified/board eligible (or foreign equivalent).

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
