The Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) is one of seven research centers at SCRI. Its mission is to advance laboratory discoveries from the institute toward new and innovative treatments that will prevent/cure childhood illnesses and improve the quality of children's daily lives. The successful applicant will work closely with the CCTR Center Director to ensure that faculty members of the center continue to be successful in securing funding and conducting clinical and translational research at SCRI as well as ensuring that SCH/SCRI faculty conducting child health related research have the resources, training and mentorship to conduct research at Seattle Children’s and its regional programs. In addition, the successful applicant will serve as a role model to junior faculty interested in clinical research and as a liaison to the Department of Pediatrics in developing mentoring programs for clinician educators. The Associate Director will also serve as the faculty leader for clinical research integration at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Appointment as full time Associate Professor (without tenure due to funding) or Professor (without tenure due to funding) of Pediatrics at the University of Washington, School of Medicine.  Rank will be commensurate with experience, training and achievement.  This is a 12-month service period position.  Anticipated start date is Spring/Summer of 2020.
