Clinical/Course Coordinator – Faculty Position

The MEDEX Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington seeks PA faculty members at its four campuses in Seattle, Tacoma and Spokane, WA and Anchorage, AK, Hawaii. This is a 12-month non-tenure track position as a lecturer. There are openings for full-time and/or part-time positions. Anticipated start is Fall 2019. 

Clinical faculty responsibilities include development and nurturing of clinical sites and preceptors, managing student placements throughout the second (clinical) year, developing and maintaining the clinical year curriculum, and supervising clinical end-of-rotation activities.  Faculty additionally participate in admissions activities, scholarly activity, committees, as well as other duties as assigned.

Teaching experience in either a classroom or clinical setting is required. A master's degree is required. Current NCCPA certification or equivalent and two years of clinical experience are required. Faculty rank will be lecturer or senior lecturer. Rank to be determined by qualifications. Faculty members enjoy a generous benefits package.
