Position Description

The University of Washington (UW), Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology is seeking applicants for two full-time (100%) faculty positions. These positions offer a variety of research, clinical and teaching responsibilities and would be proposed for appointment to the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank, on the physician-scientist pathway (without tenure due to funding, commensurate with experience). These positions would have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. The anticipated start date would be October 1, 2019.

Qualifications

Requirements include an MD (or foreign equivalent) and Board Eligibility or Certification (or foreign equivalent) in Dermatology. Candidates with Board Eligibility or Certification (or foreign equivalent) in Medical Oncology will also be considered.  A competitive applicant will have a clinical and academic interest in Dermatology and in gaining expertise in a specific academic/research area, as well as demonstrated evidence of independent research.
