Position Description

The University of Washington Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine are accepting applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor (WOT) or Associate Professor (WOT) rank, commensurate with experience, on the clinician-educator track. This is a 12-month service period.  Anticipated start date is Summer 2019.

The successful applicant will join a well-established division of twelve Adolescent Medicine faculty members and a multidisciplinary team of over fifty staff and faculty. The division consists of a diverse group of adolescent health experts who value the excellence that comes from diversity, fostering a climate of inclusion and collaboration and innovation.

Particular strengths of the Division include an outstanding fellowship program, a Maternal and Child Health Bureau-funded Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) training, and an active research program.

This position will have a clinical focus with interest in behavioral health, eating disorders, substance abuse, obesity, biofeedback, gender, and reproductive health for all genders and engage in clinics in the Seattle area and in regional clinics.

All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.


The eligible applicant will be board certified (or eligible) in Pediatric Adolescent Medicine. MD/DO or foreign equivalent required.
