Position Description

The Department of Laboratory Medicine's division of Virology is hiring a senior fellow to work on characterizing host-viral interactions in respiratory viruses and human herpes viruses. This position will be a 12-month service period starting at time of hire, and is open until filled. 


Seeking a candidate with a PhD in the field of Virology/Molecular Biology. Critical techniques include mammalian cell culture, rapid plasmid cloning, viral reverse genetics systems, and sequencing. The candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Strong analytical, writing, communication and problem solving skills are desired.
