We are recruiting a full-time physician assistant at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate to join our hand and upper extremity service. Our Physician Assistant (PA) will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team that in addition to orthopaedic surgeons may include plastic surgeons, primary care and rehabilitation medicine physicians, occupational therapists, as well as orthopaedic residents and fellows. Our PAs are responsible for providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. PAs with experience in orthopaedic care are preferred but we can train motivated and talented individuals. The position is on an annual appointment with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This position has a flexible start date in winter 2026.
Salary:
The base salary range for this position will be: $10,000 - $14,850 per month ($120,000-178,200 annually) commensurate with qualifications and years of experience as a physician assistant, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations.

Qualifications
1. Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License.
2. Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program. Nationally certified PA-C with DEA.
3. Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
