Clinical duties will be based primarily at Harborview Medical Center (HMC), attending on the inpatient nephrology consult service and outpatient clinics at HMC. The number of weeks on consult service and the number of outpatient clinics will be based on the need and at the discretion of the Section Head and Division Head. Although this position’s clinical focus will be on general nephrology, we expect the person in this position will develop one to two clinical subspecialty areas of interest and expertise. This position would also see patients at one or more outpatient dialysis units, and at the discretion of the Division Head and Section Head.

This position will also be responsible for teaching nephrology fellows, medical residents and medical students during time as an attending nephrologist. This position will also participate in divisional teaching and academic conferences as assigned, such as presenting annually at grand rounds conference.

This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
