Position Description

Applications are invited for a non-tenure track Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington. This is a full-time position with a 9-month service period (September 16 - June 15) and an anticipated start date of September 16, 2024.

Washington State Law requires that this ad list a binding salary range. The base salary range for this position will be $8,334 - $9,112 per month on a 9-month basis ($75,006 - $82,008 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.

Qualifications

Applicants are required to have a Ph.D., or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Biostatistics, or any related field by the starting date. Applicants must be highly qualified for undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as independent research in statistical theory, methodology, education, or application.
