Position Description

The University of Washington Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences in the School of Medicine is seeking candidates for one part-time faculty position available at the rank of Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding.  Professors are eligible for indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.  The anticipated start date is August 1, 2023.  Duties include supporting outpatient services at UWMC, and contributing to departmental research, teaching and training missions in the clinical setting. This includes clinical care and the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Please note: as this is a part-time position it is not eligible for visa sponsorship. 

Qualifications

PhD or foreign equivalent in Psychology or a related field. Licensed to practice psychology or eligibility to become licensed in Washington State.
