Position Details

University of Washington Medical Center and the UW Affiliate Valley Medical Center are looking for a well-trained gynecologic oncologist to join a growing practice at Valley and augment an established academic practice at UW. This full-time job will consist of 80% clinical time and 20% administrative time evenly distributed between the two centers with the primary academic appointment at UW.  The University of Washington is a preeminent research institution and our gyn oncologists are leaders in genomics, immunotherapy, cancer prevention, clinical trials and personalized medicine. We provide advanced surgery and chemotherapy to all types of gyn cancers and both sites actively accrue to clinical trials and share a single tumor board.

Required Professional Skills:

The University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Candidates will be expected to provide medical services at the University of Washington affiliated hospitals, train residents and medical students, and make academic contributions to the field.

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
