Position Details

The University of Washington Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine and the UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center are recruiting a full-time general cardiology faculty position to be primarily based at the UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center in the clinical track at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.  This is a 12-month, annual appointment.   Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to patient care with interests in general, noninvasive cardiology and a willingness to expand our outpatient practice.  We would encourage candidates to take advantage of the outstanding opportunities that exist for collaboration at the University of Washington and opportunities exist to develop scholarly programs and be involved in medical education.  Applicants must have an MD degree and be board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases, or foreign equivalents. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
