Position Details

The Division of Adolescent Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics is seeking 2 Board certified/eligible pediatric adolescent medicine specialists (MD/DO or foreign equivalent required) to join our vibrant and growing Division.  This is a full-time appointment in the School of Medicine at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, without tenure.


The individual will join a well-established Division of 12 adolescent medicine faculty members and a multidisciplinary team of over 50 staff and faculty.  The Division consists of a diverse group of adolescent health experts who value the excellence that comes from diversity, fostering a climate of inclusion and collaboration, and innovation.  Particular strengths of the Division include an outstanding fellowship program, a Maternal and Child Health Bureau-funded Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) training, and an active research program. This position will have a clinical focus with interest in behavioral health, eating disorders, substance abuse, obesity, and reproductive health for all genders and engage in clinics in the Seattle area and in regional clinics.

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S,) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
