Position Description
The University of Washington Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery is seeking a full-time clinician at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. This is an annual appointment with a 12-month service period (July 1 - June 30).
This position will be based at the University of Washington Medical Center Northwest Campus where the candidate will contribute to a growing general otolaryngology practice environment with 3 other Otolaryngologists, an ARNP and audiology services. There is opportunity to teach residents and PA candidates. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in patient care, teaching and leadership. The anticipated start date is July of 2023.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include an MD (or foreign equivalent), certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and eligible for a Washington State medical license.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
