Parking and Other Transportation Options

University of Washington employees travel from points all over King County – and beyond – to get to campus. UW administration encourages all employees to seek alternatives to driving to campus alone whenever possible, and there are a variety of methods available that include traveling by bus, train, bike, carpool, or even the ZipCar car-sharing program.

Once on campus, you can take the free Health Sciences Express shuttle, which provides transportation to many of our affiliate sites, including the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), Roosevelt Clinic, Harborview Medical Center (HMC), Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC). Route and schedule information is available online.

For information about parking on campus and other transportation options, visit the Commuter Services Web site.

The Commuter Services website describes the programs available to UW Seattle faculty, staff and students.
