Position Details


The University of Washington Tacoma (UW Tacoma) invites applications for multiple part-time lecturer positions in the Nursing and Healthcare Leadership Programs beginning September 16, 2014. Appointments are quarterly and % FTE varies. Courses include but are not limited to those with leadership, communication, diversity and systems content.

The program offers three degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Master of Nursing (MN) and a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Leadership (BA HCL). For additional information go to http://www.tacoma.washington.edu/nursing/

Requirements:

Minimum master’s degree in nursing or a relevant discipline
Demonstrated competence in teaching
Experience teaching at college level is preferred

If the applicant is a licensed professional, she/he must be eligible for or have an unencumbered license in Washington State.
