Gastroenterology—Assistant, Associate or Full Professor
Gastroenterology Faculty Position–The Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington is recruiting 2 full-time faculty members at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level in the clinician/teacher pathway (without tenure due to funding), who will be based at VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, WA. This is a 12 month service period, and the length of the appointment is indefinite. The candidate will have a recognized MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and ABIM certification in Gastroenterology (or foreign equivalent). Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology, as well as performance of general endoscopic procedures. Proficiency and experience performing diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures is required. The position includes opportunities for teaching and scholarly pursuits. Individuals with focused clinical expertise in inflammatory bowel disease would be preferred. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. The position is open until filled.
