Assistant Professor Faculty Position in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA

The University of Washington’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, invites applications for an ongoing full-time, 12-month faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Clinician-Educator pathway (WOT).

We are seeking an exceptional clinician-educator to serve as the Program Director of the Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship. The individual will have clinical care responsibilities at Harborview Medical Center including trauma rehabilitation and stroke care. They should have a strong interest in education and teaching and a record that demonstrates some experience and proficiency in this domain. They should have demonstrated clinical expertise and academic interests advancing scholarship in acquired brain injury including traumatic brain injury, stroke, and hypoxic-anoxic encephalopathy. Administrative experience in leading educational programs and familiarity with ACGME requirements and curricular design is preferred.

A medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent) are required. Candidates should be board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine by the American Board of PM&R and licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a physician in the State of Washington.
