The Division of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA is recruiting a full-time, MD (or foreign equivalent), board certified/eligible (or foreign equivalent), non-tenured faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level for a burn plastic reconstructive surgeon.  This unique position will provide support for burn and general reconstructive Plastic Surgery at Harborview Medical Center, the Northwest’s only Level I Trauma Center, joining the University of Washington Burn Center team of physicians. Prospective candidates must have completed a burn fellowship, in addition to Plastic Surgery training, possess a clinical and academic commitment to burn reconstruction, and have demonstrated a commitment to teaching and research. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
