Position Details


The Division of Transplant Surgery within the University of Washington School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time, non-tenured position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on the applicantʼs credentials. This position will be primarily based at Seattle Childrenʼs Hospital, with potential opportunity for practice at UW Medical Center (UWMC). The successful candidate will participate in surgical transplantation procedures, clinics, selection committees and organ recovery. Pediatric surgery training is highly desirable. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Requirements for the position include MD degree (or foreign equivalent), board eligibility (or foreign equivalent) and successful completion of a transplant surgery fellowship.

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
