The University of Washington Department of Sociology invites applications for a permanent full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position with a specialization in stratification/social inequality, health, or migration/immigration, to begin September 2018. Researchers who can contribute to training graduate students in advanced demographic methods and whose research interests complement other areas of departmental and university strength are especially encouraged to apply. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate should have the PhD or foreign equivalent by the start of the appointment.
