The Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care Systems (VAPSHCS) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting for a full-time faculty position in academic gerontology at the VAPSHCS. This position is supported by a VA full-time salary and the incumbent will also be appointed to a full-time faculty position at the University of Washington in the Research Track as a Research Assistant Professor (0143). This is a non-tenured, 12-month, multi-year appointment.
Requirements include a Ph.D., and completion of post-doctoral research training. Any US citizen may apply. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Applicants should possess an established academic track record, including experience with teaching.
