The Department of Epidemiology at the University of Washington’s School of Public Health invites applications for up to two full-time (100% FTE, 12 month appointment) faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor without tenure (WOT) due to funding, in the areas of maternal and child health epidemiology or infectious disease epidemiology. The successful applicant(s) will have doctoral level training epidemiology (or foreign equivalent) or a closely related field as well as a record of research, teaching, and service consistent with the mission of the Department of Epidemiology. Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate level classroom teaching, mentoring graduate and post-doctoral trainees, establishing and maintaining an independent epidemiologic research program, and departmental service. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a successful independently funded research program, and a successful application must bring full funding to support their research time. Salary is commensurate with experience.
