Position Details


We are seeking candidates for a full-time Lecturer (0179) in the
Department of Statistics at the University of Washington. This would be a
full-time, multi-year appointment. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree (or
foreign equivalent) by the start of the appointment. Employment will be
held for 12 months of the year – 9 months during the regular academic
cycle, plus an additional 3 summer months.

Duties of this appointment include directing the department’s student
consulting program operated jointly with Biostatistics, as well as
teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Statistics, and service. We
encourage applications from exceptional candidates with relevant
statistical consulting or experience in applied research.

All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
