9-month appointment for both full and part-time
DUTIES: Responsible for clinical education and supervision of students in speech-language pathology covering the broad area of communication disorders across the life span, and provision of direct client services to sustain a teaching caseload. The applicant may be involved in undergraduate and graduate didactic teaching within the department, may be responsible for aspects of fieldwork, and will be expected to participate on department committees and events. Additional duties and leadership roles as assigned that contribute to the vision and mission of the clinic, department and university.
QUALIFICATIONS: Interest and at least five years’ experience in clinical speech language pathology. Specific skills include evidence-based comprehensive evaluation and individual and group treatment methods for adults and/or children, and their communication partners/family. The required credential for applicants is CCC-SLP, eligibility for speech-language pathology licensure in Washington State, and a MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and/or Audiology. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in university based clinical supervision and/or didactic teaching.
