Position Details

The MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington seeks PA faculty members at its training site in Anchorage, AK. There are openings for full-time and/or part-time positions. Faculty duties include teaching, coordinating or chairing at least one course, advising and evaluating students, admissions work and scholarly activity. Faculty assist in all aspects of the program including recruitment and the development, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum associated with the program. Teaching experience, in either a classroom or clinical setting, is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree preferred. Current clinical license and one to two years of clinical experience are required. These are non-tenure track appointments, renewable annually, at the faculty rank of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, depending on experience and qualifications.
