Position Details

The University of Washington Department of Physics, in conjunction with its Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics (CENPA), seeks outstanding candidates at all levels of seniority for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in experimental nuclear physics. Of particular interest are candidates with leadership roles in major projects that are supported by the Low Energy Nuclear Physics program of the Department of Energy Office of Science. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree by the date of appointment. Applications must be submitted at and should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of research interests, and statement of teaching interests and experience. Applicants also should provide the names of three referees from whom letters of reference may be requested; letters will not requested until the search committee has the approval of the applicant.
